Problem

The client was looking to improve and leverage its nation wide Energy Rating Service in order to be more productive and efficient in the provision of everyday services. Everything was managed through emails and using Sharepoint just as a file storage. The process of achieving a certified building involves several actors, from clients (builders) scheduling, people on field nation wide and headquarters working together.

Solution

We had the opportunity to review the Energy Rating Service, and therefore implemented an Information Solution which revamped it using a set of cutting edge technologies, also in harmony with all the resources and actors involved, including Clients (Builders), Employees, Contractors, Utilities and Technological assets.

¿What we did?

We used a set of orchestrated tools in order to achieve the goal. We built a hybrid solution with Office 365 and Windows Azure. Microsoft Sharepoint for Workflow Automation , ETL with SSIS, Pdf generation and reading with Aspose pdf, UI wiht Telerik, XML manipulation and general programing in C#.
